Margaritaville and Karisma Hotels & Resorts – Partner with Island Shipping have announced plans to debut Margaritaville Island Reserve Resort Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras in 2025. Roatan is a burgeoning destination beloved for its sensational climate, pristine beaches and landscape and otherworldly coral reefs and underwater attractions.
Island Shipping CEO Jerry Hynds said the “master-planned coastal development could not be a more perfect setting for Margaritaville.” “Roatan is experiencing significant growth, and we are proud and excited to be part of the journey to change the hospitality landscape on the island,” concluded Hynds.
Royal Caribbean Announces New Lineup
Royal Caribbean has announced its lineup of 2025-2026 Caribbean voyages. The cruise line will deploy seven ships to the region, sailing from ports in Florida, Texas, and Puerto Rico. Bookings for these newly announced cruises opened November 16th, 2023.
Princess Cruises Kicks Off Winter Season
Regal Princess has 21 roundtrip cruises that will sail to the Western Caribbean, Mexico, and Honduras over journeys that last from seven- to 12 days. She will visit Cozumel and Costa Maya in Mexico and Roatán in Honduras.

Marine Exploration Case Study
The 49 square mile island was said to be visited by Columbus on his fourth voyage 1502-1504, then explored by Spanish conquistador Velasquez. Roatan was also popular with pirates, including the notorious Blackbeard. Later, the island became a British Crown Colony. The Crown eventually turned the possession over to Honduras in 1858. Today, by modern standards, is still a remarkably undeveloped island that has become a favorite for scuba diving and is seeing increasing migration from mainland Honduras.Read More..

Before COVID, we offered annual “Discovery and Investment Tour” for people looking into purchasing their piece of paradise. Then we tour and explore the different regions of the island, educating and informing you along the way.
